The French brothers Jules and Prosper Tourtel were inventive brewers. In 1839 they set up their brewery in Tantonville, near Nancy. Soon it became clear the brewery was going to do pioneering and innovative work. No less a person than the scientist Louis Pasteur - whose invention of pasteurisation made possible the natural conservation of food - studied the fermentation process at the Tourtel brewery in 1873. The first cooling and malting machines used by the brewery were a revolutionary innovation. Tourtel beer is strongly linked to this source of ingenuity.
Tourtel is suitable for beer lovers who enjoy the refreshing flavour of beer but dislike high alcohol content. Tourtel is free of alcohol but is just as thirst-quenching as lager.
Product specifications:
A sophisticated cooling process at the start of fermentation enables the brewers to turn the aromatic malts and perfectly measured hops into a balanced beverage. The brewers follow the traditions of the Tourtel brothers. There are two varieties: blonde and brown. Tourtel is brewed from 100 % pure malt.

Tourtel Blonde:
Alcohol-free blonde beer with a refreshingly malty flavour and a light bitterness to underline its refreshing character. Tourtel has a creamy head.
Tourtel Brown:
Alcohol-free beer with a warm brown colour and a creamy head. Tourtel Brown has a rich, sweet and mildly bitter flavour.
